This Saturday Deano will be one of ten kids with "the sugars" that get to help auction off a Ford Shelby GT500 at the Barret-Jackson Car Auction in Scottsdale. All the money raised will go the JDRF. We are all really excited and can't wait. The kids will be on the auction block as the car is sold to help pull on heart-strings and loosen people's wallets. A celebrity (we don't know who yet) will drive the car up onto the block. It's going to be an exciting day and we are really happy that Dean was choosen to do this...it couldn't be more perfect considering who Dean's father is! We'll follow up with details and pix of the big day soon. Oh! The Speed Channel is showing it LIVE so somewhere between 4 and 9 p.m. he will be on. The lot number for the car is 1347.2 Wish Deano luck for his big TV debut!

Oh, and no shout out to your awesome sister for watching your other kids while you get to go to the auction?? Sheesh. I will be watching for it in the follow up post. You think I do these things out of the kindness of my heart?

Can't wait to see Deano on TV! If that face doesn't tug on heart strings...I don't know what will. I told him he better not pick his nose or something and embarass the family.
